What cold chain storage covers

   A 2–⁠8 °C cold room

   Products are kept in a cold room that suits their label condition, with the temperature measured and recorded continuously.

2. 02

   Temperature check at receipt

   The temperature of incoming goods and the transport logger data are checked at receipt. If there is a deviation the goods are quarantined, and the product owner decides.

3. 03

   Short, recorded handovers

   Time on the dock and time spent preparing orders outside the cold room are kept short and recorded; handovers are where the cold chain breaks most often.

4. 04

   Alarms and deviation records

   When the temperature leaves its range the team sees it at once. The event, the batches affected and the action taken are recorded and reported to you.

5. 05

   Cold chain dispatch

   Orders are prepared in a suitable transport container, with records. We agree the transport condition and the carrier with you.

6. 06

   Watching for freezing too

   In the cold chain, freezing is a deviation as well. The records watch the lower limit too; below 2 °C counts as a deviation.
